CONSTRUCTION

A series of paintings from 2019 following visits to construction sites including the development of Eddington in Cambridge, and housing estates on the edge of Ely. I enjoy the temporary structures that are found on building sites, and the idea of an evolving landscape.

Paintings from this series have been exhibited in London, Eddington and Ely. Four of the works were selected for the D-Contemporary Painting Prize 2019. “Stacked cabins” was also selected for the Top Twenty Awards at Cambridge Open Art Exhibition 2019.
